Assist the Special Education Teacher with the educational evaluation of children

- Be part of a classroom team while working on curriculum and children’s educational goals.
- Take part in the assessment procedure when directed and supervised by the teacher.
- Review assessment findings with the teacher.
- Provide direct teaching under the supervision of the Special Educator.
Qualifications:
- Must have preschool experience within a classroom setting
- Special Education experience preferred
- Must be willing to obtain NYS Teacher Assistant Certification (no cost involved)
- Teacher Assistants generally receive sign on bonuses.
